Methyl Bromide
Methyl Bromide is often necessary to meet quarantine or pre-shipment (QPS) and phytosanitary or other contractual requirements for imports and exports. It can be used for Export/Import Fumigations only as per QPS stipulations.
Sulfuryl Fluoride
Sulfuryl Fluoride (SF) offers effective control against stored product pests and quarantine pests due to its excellent penetration of airspaces and commodities along with minimal sorption.
SF is also used in Building and Structural Fumigations for these reasons.
It's particularly useful as a resistance-breaker On Farm in grain storages where phosphine is commonly used, and offers flexibility in exposure times based on your fumigation goals. It's key advantages are:-

Phosphine PH3
Phosphine fumigation is sometimes favored due to its relatively low cost compared to alternative fumigants. However, the efficacy of phosphine can be reduced by factors such as temperature and humidity and additionally, there is also the risk of resistance among certain pest species to phosphine after many failed fumigations.
